the house

Ok, so I finally get to update... It' s been taking me quite a while, I admit, but that's only because the sodding wireless doesn't work half of the time.
So, you already know the first thing: We got wireless, and I wish we wouldn't. Apart from that, the house is just fine. A nice old Edwardian building, two bedrooms connected by a bathroom upstairs, a reception room, a living room and the kitchen downstairs. Very historical, if that's what you want to call it.
My room is the smaller one facing the churchyard - they put a glaring red cross on top of the tiny little church and it kind of looks as if they held the annual satanists' conference in there.
The toilet doesn't always work, at least the upstairs one. Silly. Or very historical, just chose.
Peanuts has a vast variety of kitchen utensils: I am in heaven. We also have a TV with a free-of-charge on-demand function, so chances are I won't be updating very often. It's not as there was anything on anyways, but after yesterday evening I know half about Cuba's engagement in the African struggle for independence. Oh, well.
What else? Nothing much, I guess. It's a just a small, English terraced house in a fairly posh middle-class area. Really nice, really staid, really ... historical.
Peanuts is getting married this summer. She's twenty-three. That kind of wraps it up. Really, really nice and considerate, though. I do my best not to be impolite. I'm going to fail miserably.
